Membership in America’s Mutual Banks (AMB) can be a definite advantage to you and your business.
Become an Associate Member today and let AMB assist you in building valuable relationships within
AMB’s community. America’s Mutual Banks is the only trade group of its kind. AMB can help introduce
your products and services to FDIC insured mutual institutions. Your membership in AMB will open
doors and add credibility to your company.
 
ELIGIBILITY: Any organization that provides products or services that facilitate the business
and/or operations of mutual banks, except non-FDIC insured depository institutions. AMB
reserves the right to deny or terminate the membership of any organization that is the subject
of law enforcement or regulatory action, or whose ethical, compensation, or corporate
governance practices are deemed inappropriate for membership. Affiliates of mutual banks,
which are not members are ineligible unless the affiliate bank is a member.

CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP: AMB reserves the right to cancel the membership of any
Associate Member that advocates for the elimination of the cooperative banking model or
otherwise attempts to use membership to advocate positions fundamentally inconsistent with
the preservation of mutuality.
 
Membership is just $500 per calendar year and joining is easy - just complete the attached Associate
Membership Application and fax it to AMB’s office at (202) 220-6945. Here are some of the benefits you
will receive as an AMB Associate Member:
 
ACCESS: Direct access to decision makers within AMB’s banking community through our
membership directory, annual report and during AMB meetings. We will also provide direct
referrals to banks and other Associate Members who contact us seeking particular products or
services.

ADVERTISING: AMB offers complimentary advertising in the AMB Membership Directory. Your
company contact information will be included on AMB’s website free of charge.

CORRESPONDENCE: As a new Associate Member, you will have the opportunity to write a letter
of introduction about your company's products and/or services, which will be sent to our
membership from the AMB Chairman. In addition, for two weeks following you becoming an
Associate Member, we will feature your company in all AMB email correspondence as our
closing tag-line. Once a year, AMB will also send information from you to our members via
email. This is a great opportunity to make mutual banks aware of new solutions, or to remind
them of the services you provide.

CO-BRANDING: You will have the ability to use AMB’s logo on literature (with advance
permission).

NETWORKING: Each year AMB holds an annual meeting designed to provide up-to-date
information on the changes in law, regulatory and business environments affecting mutual
banks. Associate Members are invited to attend the Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting and
similar events are the optimal opportunity to build personal relationships with AMB members.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in periodic webinars.

SPONSORSHIPS: You will be given the first opportunity to participate as a sponsor at AMB's
Annual Meeting, and will receive sponsorship information in advance of other vendors.

WEBSITE: Your company and contact information will be listed on AMB’s website under the
Associate Member section, along with a direct link from our website to yours.
 
AMB ENDORSEMENT PROCESS
AMB is pleased to partner with organizations involved in the mutual banking industry. Endorsed
Business Partners are chosen by a committee of mutual bankers whose decisions are based upon an
evaluation of the caliber of a company and its products and services. However, endorsement is reserved
for those companies whose business principles and ethics are compatible with the mutual bank culture.
